HOME BASE

Privacy policy

Home Base is built so that your life plan, routine and health stay with you. This policy explains what the Home Base app for iPhone and Apple Watch does with your information.

Effective 9 October 2026

In short: we don't collect any of your data. Everything you put into Home Base is stored on your own iPhone (and, if you turn it on, in your own iCloud). We have no servers that receive it, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

Home Base is not a medical device and does not give medical advice.

What stays on your iPhone

Your account (the name you give), your life plan (season, values, life areas, goals), your routines and ticks, habits, daily check-ins, emotions, weigh-ins you type, reviews and settings are stored on your iPhone, protected by iOS data protection. The Apple Watch app gets today's plan from your iPhone over Apple's own connection between the two devices.

iCloud (optional)

If iCloud sync is on, Home Base keeps a copy of your plan and routine in your own private iCloud database, so it can appear on a new iPhone. That data is held by Apple under your Apple Account; we cannot see or access it. You can turn iCloud sync off in Home Base › Settings at any time.

Apple Health

If you allow it, Home Base reads sleep, activity, heart, workout and weight data from Apple Health to show your day and progress. It does not write to Apple Health. Health data is read and kept only on your iPhone: it is never sent to us or anyone else, never stored in iCloud and never included in backup files. You can change what Home Base may read in the Settings app › Health › Data Access & Devices.

Face ID

If you protect Home Base with Face ID, the check is done by iOS. Home Base only learns whether it succeeded; it never sees or stores your face data.

The coach

Where your iPhone supports it, the coach uses Apple's on-device AI model. Your questions and its answers are processed and kept on your iPhone and are not sent to us or to any AI service.

Reminders

Routine reminders are scheduled on your iPhone as local notifications. Nothing is sent through a server.

Backups

When you export a backup, Home Base creates a file and you choose where it goes (for example Files or iCloud Drive). Anyone who has that file can read it, so keep it somewhere private. Backups don't include Apple Health data.

What we don't do

  • We don't collect, sell or share personal information.
  • We don't use analytics, crash-reporting services, advertising or tracking, and Home Base contains no third-party code that does.
  • We don't create an online account for you: your account exists only on your iPhone.

Deleting your data

Home Base › Settings › Account › Delete my account erases your account and all your Home Base data on the iPhone and, if iCloud sync was on, in your iCloud. Deleting the app also removes the data on that iPhone. Because we never receive your data, we can't recover it for you either.

Children

Home Base doesn't collect information from anyone, including children.

The Home Base website

This policy covers the iPhone and Apple Watch app. The Home Base website at home.niasha.com is a separate, invitation-only workspace with its own sign-in; people invited to it are told how their information is handled when they are invited.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If a change ever meant that data would leave your iPhone, the app would ask you first.
