HOME BASE

Support

Home Base helps you build a life plan and a daily routine, see your day on one ring, and keep an eye on sleep, training and weight. Here are answers to the most common questions.

Need help? Email support@niasha.com. Please say which iPhone and iOS version you have. Don't send health details or backup files: we don't need them to help.

Getting started

How do I set up my plan?

When you first open Home Base it walks you through a few short steps: about you, your season, values, life areas, goals and your routine. It takes about five minutes, and you can skip a step and come back to it later from the Plan tab.

Do I need an email or password?

No. Your account is just a name on your iPhone. You can protect the app with Face ID instead of a password.

How do I change my routine?

Open the Plan tab › Routine. Pick an activity, a start time and how long it takes; Home Base warns you if two blocks overlap and suggests the next free time.

Face ID and privacy

Face ID doesn't work or keeps asking

Check Settings › Face ID & Passcode on your iPhone and make sure a passcode is set. In Home Base › Settings › Account you can turn Face ID off or change how soon the app locks.

Who can see my data?

Only you. Everything stays on your iPhone and, if you turn it on, your own iCloud. See the privacy policy.

Apple Health

My sleep, steps or workouts don't show

Open the Settings app › Health › Data Access & Devices › Home Base and turn on the data you want it to read. Data appears after Apple Health has it (for example after your Apple Watch syncs in the morning).

Does Home Base change my Health data?

No. It only reads it, and keeps it on your iPhone.

Reminders

I don't get reminders

Check Settings › Notifications › Home Base on your iPhone, and the quiet hours in Home Base › Settings › Reminders. Focus modes can also hold reminders back.

New iPhone, backups and deleting

How do I move to a new iPhone?

With iCloud sync on, sign in to the same Apple Account on the new iPhone and open Home Base: your plan comes back. Without iCloud, use Home Base › Settings › Backup › Export a backup on the old iPhone, then Import it on the new one. Apple Health data comes from Health itself.

How do I delete everything?

Home Base › Settings › Account › Delete my account. This erases your Home Base data on the iPhone and in your iCloud. It can't be undone.

Apple Watch

The Watch says "Open Home Base on your iPhone"

The Watch gets today's plan from your iPhone. Open Home Base on the iPhone once with the Watch nearby and it will appear.

Health and safety

Home Base is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. Talk to a health professional before making changes to your diet, training or sleep, especially if you have a medical condition.
